Little Prince

The herd consisted of one sleek stallion and two beautiful black mares, plus this precious young foal … They kept the youngster close, and it was abundantly clear they cherished him. I laughed out loud as the mare swung her tail to swat flies from her own, and her baby’s rump.

I could hardly believe my incredible good fortune, as at first, it appeared they would bolt, but instead they paused to drink from a little spring and grazed on the lush grass by the roadside, allowing me to snap off several frames before deciding to move up into the trees.
