Not to worry! Despite appearances, this little one was not alone, but running between its mama ahead, and papa close behind, in a herd of about 30 fast-moving wild horses.

I knew I wouldn’t be able to catch more than one of the running pack, so I decided to just try for the tiny gray pony. Ignoring all the other possibilities, I got it in my sights and tracked to catch it as they crossed the road in front of me.

Whew!
