Poof!

I have long been a lover of clouds …. yet somewhere along the line, I came to the conclusion that clouds alone almost never constitute a saleable image.
Sometimes I still shoot just clouds, but I usually have in mind to use shots like that as background for other images.

Yesterday …. one of THE most insanely perfect sky days I can recall … the entire day canopied by these magnificent white puffy clouds … constantly changing, always miraculous. I shot a bunch of them …. with that “future background use” idea in mind. (I very seldom follow through with using them that way. It’s just an excuse.:D)) )

On the way home from a nearly perfect outing … these great plumes appeared just above the horizon, and I think this one might be worthy of its own frame.
